Massage Services
THAI – very similar to yoga; only the therapist does it for you! The therapist leans on your body creating a stretch throughout the entire body while applying firm rhythmic pressure utilizing their hands, elbows, and knees.
COMBINATION – a combination of Thai and Deep Tissue; however, you may request a combination of any two of our massage techniques as we can tailor the massage to fit your needs.
DEEP TISSUE – focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The movements are slow and the pressure is concentrated on your areas of tension.
LOMILOMI – the traditional Hawaiian massage that consists of sweeping arm movements while the elbow and forearm are used in conjunction with precise fingertip pressure point work.
HOT STONES – used upon request at no additional charge in any massage. Ask the therapist for this royal treat and they will fit it into your massage at just the right time.
PRE-NATAL – reduces stress on weight-bearing joints, encourages blood and lymph circulation, helps to relax nervous tension (which aids in better sleep), and can help relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes.
REFLEXOLOGY – pays special attention to the physical act of applying pressure to points on the feet, hands, and ears with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques.
SHIATSU – a Japanese massage technique that uses localized finger pressure in a rhythmic sequence which is a non-invasive form of therapy designed to stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself.
SPORTS – specific to the athlete's sport of choice focusing on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive and often aggressive movements.
SWEDISH – relaxes the entire body by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Try this one with Thai!
